Rehearsal Venue
Our rehearsals are held in The United Reformed Church Hall (pictured below) which is on the corner of St George's Road and Clifton Drive,
FY8 2AE. This is just behind The Square in Lytham St Annes.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.and we have a short break half way through so that we can socialise with one another!
We are currently rehearsing Mendelssohn's St Paul for our concert on 25th April this year. We then have a summer break but our Deputy Director, Anne, usually holds summer sing events which quite a few of us go along to to sing for pleasure and to keep our voices in trim ready for the next Season's concert. Rehearsals for the 2009-10 Season start in September.
Choir members also sing at extra events such as occasional services at local churches, Rotary Carol Service at St Cuthberts Parish Church in Lytham, evensong at Cartmel Priory etc. We always have a party after each concert and in recent seasons our social activities have included wine-tasting, barbeques and outings to concerts etc .
