We are delighted to have the expertise and skills of David Windle as he joins us as our Rehearsal Accompanist for our 2024/25 season.
David Windle
David studied Organ,Piano,Harmony and Composition at the University of Huddersfield combined with private Arranging studies in London.
Since embarking on a career as a Freelance Professional musician in 1980 he has worked in virtually every aspect of Music

After leaving the University he began studying composition and jazz piano privately with Derek Hilton who was the Musical Director for Granada Television.
In 2019 David was commissioned to write the accompanying soundtrack for the New Museum of Entertainment “Showtown” due to open in Blackpool in 2024
He has been a Church Organist for 51 years and addition to his freelance work he is the Organist and Director of music at the White Church in Fairhaven.
David is a Fellow of the Guild of Musicians and Singers and a Fellow of the Fraternity of St Cecelia.
His Hobby interests include Aviation,Steam Railways and Amateur Radio
