Adam Brown

With a passion for connecting people through music, Adam is delighted to serve as Associate Conductor with the Lytham St Annes Choral Society.

Adam graduated with a BMus (Hons) in Musicology from Newcastle University, focusing on conducting and analysis, and further honed his skills during a year of study at the Humboldt University in Berlin.

Over the years, Adam has conducted various ensembles, from chamber groups to orchestras, always seeking unique and meaningful performances.

Career highlights include conducting the UK premier of David Lang's Are you Experienced? and the first modern performance of La Luchesina, a 15-th century polyphonic work for brass that had never been transcribed until Adam completed the transcript himself.

Currently, Adam serves as a Teacher of Music and Coordianator of  Co-curricular Music at AKS Lytham, where he strives to inspire students to share in the joy and depth that music brings to our lives.
